2018-19 Course Registration Timeline

To all current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders: Mark your calendar for these important dates for the 2018-19 Course Registration.  Course selection will take place during the fall this year in order to prepare for staffing two MISD high schools (Montgomery High School & Lake Creek High School).

Friday Night Football This Week!

Kendra Scott Pop-Up Store:
Save the date for Friday, October 13 (5:30-7:30pm) at MHS Bear Stadium! Shop before the Montgomery vs Conroe varsity football game for Kendra Scott jewelry. 20% of the proceeds benefit MHS PTO. Credit cards or gift cards only.

BATTLE OF 105: The Battle of 105 is THIS WEEK. Friday’s home football game will be against Conroe High School on Friday, October 13th. This week, MHS and Conroe High School will compete to see who can raise the most money at lunches. Be sure to bring your donation THIS WEEK. The money raised will provide sports scholarships through our local YMCA to kids who otherwise cannot afford to play sports.

PINK OUT: This will also be our PINK OUT game. There will be a pink Battle of 105 t-shirt available for purchase during lunches on Thursday October 12th. T-shirts will be $10 each and part of those proceeds will provide assistance to those on our campus affected by cancer. Last year, Conroe out donated MHS by four hundred dollars, this year let's show CHS how generous Montgomery Bears can be!

WE REALIZE THAT EMERGENCIES ARISE. THIS POLICY ADDRESSES REGULARLY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS THAT ARE KNOWN IN ADVANCE.
  • Class interruptions must be kept to a minimum. Delivering permits to leave the building at appropriate times will alleviate unnecessary interruptions & class instruction time.
  • ALL students arriving late or leaving early MUST sign in/out in the Attendance Office located on the West Campus in B101.
  • Students leaving school during the day for a PRESCHEDULEDappointment MUST bring a note from a parent or guardian that morning before the first class begins at 7:20. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT NOTES FROM STUDENTS AFTER SCHOOL STARTS.
  • WE WILL NOT RELEASE A STUDENT WITH A PHONE CALL. We need something in writing to place in their file.
  • PICKING UP DURING ATHLETICS AND LUNCHES: If you have not requested them prior to these times you could have a long wait period.
  • TESTING AND FINALS: WE WILL NOT DISRUPT A CLASS TO GET A STUDENT DURING THESE TIMES.
  • NO PICK UP POLICY AFTER 2:15: Buses start arriving at2:00 and it is a SAFETY ISSUE that we must maintain.
By submitting your notes and emails in advance, the student will be able to leave class at the appropriate time with little disruption to the class and reduce your wait time to pick up your student and leave the building.
